Emsculpt and CoolSculpting are both popular body contouring treatments. However, each provides its unique results. Emsculpt treatments use RF energy to effectively melt fat cells, while the HIFEM works muscles at a rate far beyond what we can do on our own during a workout.

Emsculpt sessions melt off stubborn fat while toning, strengthening, and defining the musculatures of the treatment area. CoolSculpting, on the other hand, uses advanced cooling technology or Cryolipoysis to “freeze” away fat cells.

How Emsculpt Works

Emsculpt, FDA-cleared and utilizing Highly Focused Electro-Magnetic (HIFEM) energy, sculpts muscles and reduces fat. Applicators penetrate the area, inducing powerful contractions (supramaximal contractions) impossible to achieve manually. Nicknamed the “Superman workout,” a 30-minute session triggers 20,000 contractions, leading to intense muscle building and a 27% reduction in fat via enhanced metabolic response (lipolysis).

Aftercare and Results

While there is no real recovery period required after an Emsculpt treatment, expect to experience mild muscle soreness or fatigue in the treated area. This is a normal response to the intense muscle contractions that occur during the procedure and typically resolves within a few days. Most patients obtain superior results by scheduling four treatments spaced two to three days apart. As with any body contouring procedure, individual experiences may vary. Emsculpt results tend to last around six months. While the fat loss from your Emsculpt sessions can be permanent, the muscle effects typically last about six months or sometimes longer, depending on your body. Committing to a series of four to eight initial treatments scheduled two to three days apart is recommended to achieve optimal muscle definition.

Does Emsculpt work on belly fat?

Emsculpt is an excellent treatment for anyone at or around their ideal weight struggling with unwanted belly flab. Emsculpt works on the belly fat of healthy adults looking to reduce abdominal fat and strengthen their core muscles.

Does Emsculpt flatten your stomach?

Emsculpt sessions can flatten your abs and show off your muscles to a degree impossible with regular exercise. In addition, Emsculpt can further help reduce the effects of diastasis by up to about 19%.

Are there any side effects?

Other than temporary muscle soreness, there are no known side effects.
